I'm Sandie. Nice to meet you.
A life transition and grief coach based in Maleny on the Sunshine Coast, working with people across Australia on Zoom.
A little about my story, what I believe, and why I do this work.
I was a stay-at-home mum to five children. When I was 56, my husband died. We had been working towards buying property and creating a community together, and soon after, I couldn't keep our family home.
There was a time I couldn't afford housing and struggled to afford good food. I carried a lot of shame about that.
I could be in a crowd and still feel so lonely.
Slowly, I learned to begin again. Meditation, breathwork, journalling, asking for support, joining groups where I knew nobody, time in nature, getting fit, and studying healing.
Now I help people going through big changes find their footing, and their hope, again.

What I believe.

Through deep adversity, there is always hope. It's okay to fall. Just keep going. You don't need to pretend everything is perfect.
You set the pace. I walk with you.
Who I work with.
I support men and women of all ages, from 18 up, who:

Have lost someone, or part of the life they had

Don't know what their next chapter looks like

Feel heavy, unsettled, or disconnected from themselves

Are ready to feel calmer and more hopeful again
If that sounds like you, you're in the right place.
I'd be honoured to walk beside you.
What helped me rebuild.

These are some of the simple tools I share in coaching, gently and at your pace.

Still saying yes to life.
Getting stronger has taken me to places I never expected.
Bhutan, 2018
- I climbed the foothills of the Himalayas after being told I was too old and not fit enough.
Egypt, 2020
- I said yes to a trip and got stuck there for seven months, much of it under curfew. I cooked and ate with local women and swam in the Nile.
The Camino
- My next big goal. I'm getting stronger and eating better for it. And yes, there will still be cake.
House-sitting
- These days I care for homes and animals as I travel. I love the freedom of it.
At 64, I'm still saying yes to life.
And I'd love to help you find your way back to yours.
Wherever you are right now, you can begin again.
I've received your message and I'll get back to you soon. Sandie
